I asked several questions but I never really got an answer. I have some loss of strength in my arm from a stroke. I told him how it felt and he said that after the stroke, my reserve strength isn't there. I also told him a concern I had about an event where I couldn't get my words out. He said it might have been from the anesthesia from the surgery. However, that happened a month after the surgery. He didn't offer any other explanation or concern about it. This all lasted about 5 minutes and he was working his way towards the door saying to see him in a year. I felt unfulfilled and wondered why I came. Thank goodness I didn't have anything seriously wrong.

Lower the medical assistant was simply amazing and had compassion and empathy the doctor however showed no signs of caring empathy clearly I was just another number for the day get me and get me out it was a new patient to get established as I stated above I moved from the state of Tennessee and I needed to get a neurologist on board for my medical team with my PCP and cardiologist I had a stroke in 2017 the right pontoon vessel is 70% black he acted like he wasn't concerned didn't care and even ask me what do you want me to do for you I smart and said I need a neurologist on my medical team and to just follow my care he spent 15 maybe 20 minutes and that's pushing it I was confused stumped and very upset leaving his office but I cannot say enough about Laura the medical assistant she was amazing

I loved that I felt heard from my doctor. He took all of my concerns seriously and did not make me feel like it was all in my head. He was willing to sit with me and talk to me like a human. I also loves that he took notes for me to understand what was going to happen. I did not feel like I was in the dark when he was speaking with me.
