He's the best. He is extremely intelligent especially about the heart yet he explains concepts clearly to a lay person. Has a relaxed manner especially when someone is stressed. He really listens and does not judge. Plus he treats with respect, acknowledging an intelligent person knows what they're experiencing that it is real to them seeing as they know their body the best.

Since I have moved to NWI from another state seven years ago, this first visit to this physician the most pleasant experience with a physician. He actually talks to you and spends time with you. Well worth the wait to get in as a new patient. He is what physicians used to be.
Dr. Espar has been my cardio doctor since my heart attack back in 2003.... He has also been my favorite Medical Doctor since then. He and his staff show that they care for you as their patient and as a person. So many doctors are there to prescribe meds for you, and that is the extent of their caring. I would recommend Dr. Espar and his staff to anyone.... He will always remain my favorite doctor.

He is straight forward. Discusses your issues and listens to your concerns. He wants to make sure you understand what you're being told so you are updated with medication or condition changes.
Dr. Espar is very professional and has a good bedside manner. He checks your tests and he listens to you. If you need more tests he orders them. I have been seeing Dr.Espar for many years and he is one of the best cardiologists.
