Dr. Patel is a wonderful physician. He greets me with a handshake and a very friendly Hello. He is extremely thorough in beginning our visit, checking on previous history to see if there are any changes that need to be addressed. He then checks to see if there are any new changes that may be bothering me. In so doing we get into many medical conversations that I might have since I have a science background. That makes for an enlightening experience. Dr. Patel is a gifted physician as well as a gifted teacher. He has the ability to take a complicated medical condition and explain it to the majority of people in such a way that they understand it completely.

My visits with Dr. Patel are always more than just how I am. He is an excellent doctor who can identify with just about any person. The two of us have had wonderful discussions on so many medical issues and a few that are not. He is extremely concerned about his patients. There was a time after a visit with him that I received a phone call on a Saturday because he was concerned about data on a lab report. How many doctors call their patients about a concern and how many do that on a Saturday? His knowledge is superior and he can disseminate it in such a way that any person can understand what he is talking about. Before I retired, I taught Human Anatomy and Physiology at Purdue North Central. As a result, we have some lively discussions that I look forward to with each visit when he is done with his medical examination of me.
