my daughter is completely blind and to be honest most health care providers and their staff are completely not knowledgeble on how to interact with a blind adult patient. And this is across the board, any dentist office, doctor office and even hospital are completely with no glue on greeting them, etc. It needs to be addressed in the healthcare industry. But Dr. Bilder is a rare physcian who knows how.

Had to establish care with new dr since Polito left. Made appointment for new patient Annual physical and also made a note that I needed to discuss my Medication. When she first came in it was straight to meds. I shared some concerns and I felt she was very short during visit. She seemed annoyed at the fact I was a new pt that came to her because [ ] left. She only listened to my heart and then started to leave and said she'd send in nurse for follow up. I had someone send her back in to discuss the fact I was there for Annual physical and still never looked at me or listened to my lungs or ear,eyes,nose. She just ordered a routine lab and I had to ask if a urinalysis could be done due to symptoms I was having. Results came back normal but she just said message her on mychart if I still was having symptoms.
