I have been fortunate & blessed enough to have been a patient of Dr. Ransone’s for over 13 years. He also cared for my father for many years. I trust & value his knowledge & patient care. He has always taken the time to discuss & explain his treatment plan and I never feel rushed or hurried during appointment times. Now recently I have a new medical issue involving my kidneys and Dr. Ransone’s has taken the time to reach out to a colleague & provide a referral for me to obtain additional medical information for any possible treatment. He took the time to arrange all of that on the same day I had my office visit. That is exceptional patient care. Northwest Indiana & Franciscan are very fortunate to have such a dedicated urologist who truly cares about his patients & providing the very best possible care.

I came in for emergency surgery for kidney stones and had a UTI infection. I had never met the Doctor before but an emergency is an emergency and he was the one available. After the surgery his care and attendance, at my bed side, proved to me besides being a great surgeon he was also a good and gentle person. That's the kind of Doctor a person wants and further needs. I have a urologist, of 20+ years, who is a good surgeon and performed surgery on myself in the past. I intend to stay with him. But, Dr. Ransone has agreed to see me, as a client if my urologist, for some reason, is no longer available or practicing. That is how good of a impression Dr. Ransone has left on my wife and myself. The Good Doctor is a true asset to your Hospital. Simple as that.
