Dr. Shoemaker has helped me get my AQ1C and blood sugar under control. Before I met Dr. Shoemaker my A1C was around 9>0 and my blood sugar was at least in low to mid 200's.

I really like Dr. Shoemaker. I previously saw another Dr there who always made me feel bad and self-conscious about my health issue. I would have terrible anxiety leading up to my appointments. I don’t have that with Dr. Shoemaker. I feel very comfortable with him.

My fears were great, not knowing what to expect with a new diagnosis. Dr Shoemaker compassionately walked me through, start to finish, a detailed explanation of what the diagnosis means, what brought me to this point, what treatment options are available and the pros/cons of each. He encouraged me to research the two options he presented and followed up with phone calls to ensure I was aware of where we were in process (labs, insurance, etc),and providing an opportunity to address any question/concerns. I left feeling assured that I was in the best of hands!
