Neither patients nor staff want him to ever retire!!

We previously had a positive experience with Dr. Nussbaum, but today’s visit was disappointing due to an excessive wait time—over an hour past our scheduled appointment. While I understand that delays can happen in a busy medical practice, waiting 1.5 hours is unreasonable. Like many patients, I have other commitments, reponsibilities, and appointments to attend. I simply had to leave without being seen by the doctor. This was a complete waste of time. It also seems that extended wait times may be a recurring issue with Dr. Nussbaum. If this is the case, it’s understandable that patients would become frustrated. In most industries outside of healthcare, consistently making clients wait this long would not be tolerated. In most professions, making clients wait this long would be unacceptable and could lead to serious consequences. (even being fired) While a short delay of 15-20 minutes is understandable, waiting over an hour sends the message that patients’ time is not valued. I hope steps can be taken to improve scheduling and communication so this does not happen in the future. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I genuinely value the quality of care Dr. Nussbaum provides. Improving the scheduling process or communication about delays would go a long way in showing respect for patients’ time and maintaining trust in the practice.
