I was feeling really discouraged over not being able to lose weight faster after having my baby. Tiffany was incredibly kind. She suggested I follow up with my pcp if I need more medical assistance in this area beyond the healthy choices I’m already doing. But more importantly, she affirmed the lifestyle changes I’ve made despite me feeling there’s not a lot to show for my efforts. Instead of feeling judged or disbelieved (which I often feel from clinicians) she was encouraging and treated me with dignity and respect. I don’t think she realized how helpful her words were in that moment.. but I really want to say thank you to her for taking the time with me! She helped me not feel so ashamed for my weight and her words helped encourage me to keep pressing through and being faithful with my healthy life choices. Thank you!
