Although it took several months to get an appointment with him, I must say that it was worth the wait. I feel a certain amount of relief in knowing and understanding why I am in pain.
I went in with symptoms of side effects of the medicine he prescribed and he told the only symptom for that medicine was heartburn. But according to the information pamphlet with Alendronate that is not true. I experienced muscle cramping and pain, increased joint pain, abdominal discomfort, flatulence, headaches and dizziness. I informed him that I didn’t want to take the medication anymore. I have been 2 weeks without taking the medication and my symptoms are lessened.
Dr Monev took the time to listen to my concerns and developed a care plan that makes sense

Very dismissive, does not listen to concerns, advised me to go to another specialist for something he should be doing, talks very directly and bluntly (which was about the only good thing about the visit) but is so quiet I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. Ordered tests I told him I already had done twice, and seems to rush through the entire appointment. Does not seem to advocate for his patients or offer any help outside of the basic medical care.

Dr Monev saved my life. He is always very thorough with his examinations. This time he noticed that my heart rate was very low and insisted that I go downstairs to Urgent Care or the ER to get an EKG. Results of the EKG showed I was in Level 3 heart block. Went to ER, was admitted and had a Pacemaker put in the next day.
Dr. Money was nice, friendly and informative.
Doctor Monev spent enough time with me during my appointment. He was very polite and at no point he was rushed. He did a thorough examination of my body/bones. He explained my diagnosis. Overall, I am very happy with my visit with doctor Monev.
I would like to see Dr. Monev get to know his patients, learn their lifestyles, then work out a medication plan to fit each individual. He doesn't spend enough time with each patient.

He didn’t listen to anything I really had to say. I couldn’t address my concerns or symptoms with him in full and he dismissed me for having fibromyalgia and being over weight with probable sleep apnea due to being heavier. So yeah he doesn’t deserve anything above 0 and he definitely shouldn’t be practicing in the capacity of a specialist let alone as a doctor in general if that’s how he treats his patients or prospective patients.

I don't feel one way or the other about Dr. Monev. All I know is that he has told me that he cannot offer any other suggestions. So, I'm not unhappy with Dr. Monev personally, but I am not having much luck in finding out why I feel the way I do, physically or what can be done to ease my pain and tell me why I am so weak in my legs. Dr. Monev has helped me with some health issues. I would probably refer my family and friends to see Dr Monev for help if they were looking for a good doctor of Rheumatology and Osteoporosis Specialist. It just feels like I'm at a stand still in regards to myself. I am not saying anything negative towards Dr. Monev. He is very good at what he does.

Was told to be there 40 minutes early to complete paperwork, but the office refused to send me the paperwork ahead of time even though I was bringing a toddler with me. They also told me I may not be seen if I don’t complete the paperwork so please arrive at least 40 minutes before my appointment time. When I arrived, the first thing they asked was did I have my paperwork and I explained their office said they’re not allowed to send it to me ahead of time to complete and the admin said “we send those out everyday! Must have been someone new.” The doctor spent five minutes tops with me and cut me off on the answers to the two questions he asked me. The quickest exam I’ve ever had. And then he said “I’m thinking fibromyalgia. There’s meds for that.” I’m not taking meds for something that you took three minutes to “diagnose” and upon later research, has nothing to do with my symptoms. Never going back.

I felt the physician was not interested or sympathetic. He ordered test which I completed and received no feedback. NO Helpful recommendations were given. Was just told to call and make another appointment if I get worse or have no improvements. How am I improve my symptoms? I feel this one appointment was a waste of time and money.

The last two times I have seen Dr Monev he was running late. This time I felt extremely rushed. He did a quick exam, asked if I had fallen since my last appointment, told me he wanted blood work and then he would send a referral for my infusion and left the room. I don't recall that he asked me if I had any questions.
