All the above and in addition, after revealing the extreme difficulty the lab staff had in drawing blood for the tests ordered before my appointment, she stated that she was holding off on additional orders for lab work. It took three technicians and an ultrasound vein finder as well as multiple tries to fill the lab work ordered. I am sure that my last two appointments with Dr Burke and the previous good results of the lab work done helped with this decision along with hearing the difficulties involved. I am very appreciative and grateful that she showed empathy for everything I have endured in navigating all the challenges of living with these diseases.
