I like Dr. Marlin and would like to stay with her but the last several times I have requested an appt they said the wait would be approx. 3 weeks and I could see the NP, nothing personally against the NP, but if I wanted to see a NP instead of a Dr., I would have requested one to be my primary physician.

She is well informed and willingly shares health information. I have been on a long, slow journey to optimal health that began years before I was a patient of Dr. Marlin. I have struggled with keeping my blood pressure in the normal range and with losing weight. She has been patient with me while I work on controlling my "white coat anxiety" that has always caused the blood pressure readings in her office to be much higher than those I get at home. I am feeling less anxious now, and the results of the last two blood pressure readings taken in her office have been either close to normal or less than 120/80, which is a remarkable reading in a doctor's office. I also am losing weight at a turtle's pace, but I am encouraged about not regaining any of the weight I have lost over the past 12 years. I have been making essential lifestyle changes that will ensure I won't regain the weight. I am nearing my goal and I have appreciated her patience while I work toward it.
