Dr Jon Mandelbaum provides excellent, attentive, and personalized care. His surgical skill is unmatched. I had absolutely not complications, minimal discomfort (outside of what is expected post op), no swelling, no bleeding, no infection, and not even any bruising.

Dr. Mandelbaum has an incredible bedside manner. He is equally good at listening to concerns and explaining conditions and procedures in matter-of-fact terms. His sense of humor is a bonus! Most of all, he impressed me by personally leaving a voice mail after my pre-surgery consultation to follow-up on a concern I had. He could easily have asked someone else to make that call, but he personally gave me the news. That gesture spoke volumes about his commitment to patients and overall concern for their care. I don't think I've ever had a physician call me directly, and it's one of several reasons I won't soon forget Dr. Mandelbaum.

I had a bad reaction to something used during my surgery; either dermabond surgical glue and/or cleaning agents. I contacted the office two times and went in once before I was given a prescription for prednisone to calm down the inflammation and itchiness. I wish that the team would have performed some kind of contact test before covering my arms with whatever I was allergic to. The itchiness was nearly unbearable without taking Benadryl pills round the clock for almost 1 week.
