Jennifer O'Dor is the best! She takes the time to know me. She has a more holisitic approach to medicine. For example, my A1C was borderline diabetic a few months ago. Instead of starting medication immediately she gave me 3 months to make changes in my diet/lifestyle. My A1C tested today at 5.7. Her compassionate care is exactly why she is my primary.

What can I say about Jen? She is just so Amazing her knowledge her ability to listen And understand what you’re going through! I’m going to have a hip replacement and she lets me know everything will be OKAY she walks me through all the steps and goes over all my medication and just prepares me for this hip replacement! Jen takes time to listen to the whole situation. She insists she lay eyes on me regularly to see my medications are working and I am well. This is a welcome departure from the doctor/patient model where he sees you for a problem once a year and writes you a script for the year. I became very ill recently. I was in pain, very confused, and scared. I had already gone to an er and an urgent care. Jen was adamant I go to Franciscan ER, but at that point I was done. I was going to go home and wither away. Had it not been for the carefully curated relationship Jen created with me as her patient, I wouldn’t have gotten the care I desperately needed. I had no idea how badly I needed a nurse practitioner until I got one. They are the absolute backbones of family medicine
