Everyone that works in dr. Ranganath's office(his nurse too!!! She is great!) is so amazing and caring. Especially doctor Ranganath himself. He is the best hematologist out there in the entire state hands down. I have been to so many of them from Columbus all the way to the north side of Indy even IU & slowly started to give up hope on getting any real answers or finding any hematologist that really cares enough to take the time to actually help / figure it out. On my last straw before giving up I decided to try one more place and that was when I met dr. Harsha Ranganath. I couldn't have asked for a better hematologist or provider. He is knowledgeable, caring, brilliant, kind, humble, determined, resilient, one of a kind, and probably the most caring doctor I've ever been to and he doesnt ever just write you off he will do everything possible to find you answers even when everyone else has told you there are none to be found. He is out of the box and willing to go the extra mile for each of his patients and he's very intuitive & empathetic. He has so many great qualities that every doctor should have and is the gold standard for specialty medical care especially for people out there with rare hereditary diseases or issues that most doctors know little about. Even if he doesn't already have the answers he will always go the extra mile to figure it out! I recommend him for anyone needing specialty care for hematology or anything else at all! Especially for those with rare conditions feeling brushed off by every other provider they've seen!

The provider had a very brief conversation with me. For the majority of the conversation, he looked everywhere but at me. He did apologize for the delay, but his actions were perfunctory and lacked the warmth and empathy I’m used to when working with other oncologists. After the appointment he said he would see me in a YEAR! After an 8 minute conversation to establish care, despite having had cancer 3 times in 2 years, and he didn’t want lab work for a year? I’ll look into establishing care elsewhere, thanks.
