The student did a lot of cutting and there was blood. Dr. Diel did a good job cleaning it and we talked about what to do about it. I will watch for redness. He seemed concerned.

As I said above -- I have been a patient of Dr. Frederick Diel for over 10 years. He is a wonderful physician. He is very knowledgeable and personable, and I have recommended him to other people. He has a good staff, who I have known for years as well. I am thankful that I have him as my doctor. Franciscan Munster Clinic is very fortunate to have him on their staff.
Dr. Diel clearly explained what was going on and what my options were. Also provided me with 2 cushions I could try to minimize the pain due to friction.

I would rather the doctor took care of the callous on my foot, not his assistant. Or at least have the doctor in the room to make sure he's doing it right. The assistant only sanded it down. Last time, his assistant removed the stem of the callous.

Franciscan Munster is very fortunate to have him as one of their providers. I saw him yesterday because I had injured a nerve in my foot. He is helping me get relief from this. His is not only an excellent physician, but always has been very nice.

As I mentioned previously, Dr. Diel spent a significant amount of time during my visit. He assessed, explained and discussed a number of options for treatment. We decided on the most simple non-invasive treatment to begin with and a follow up in a few months. I did not feel rushed, I felt that he completely listened to my issues and concerns and was very knowledgeable and professional.
