Compassion and empathy are not in her skill set, it seems to me . I was heard, but then lectured at, not spoken to . I was directed to be seen. I was seeking no testing nor additional medications. I left feeling worse about myself and my conditions, then when I arrived .

I can't say enough about Eunjin's care for me. She spent the time to carefully explain everything to me. When I expressed my resistance to her recommendation(s), she explained why she (and the team) felt they were necessary. She also went out of her way to express concern for any personal issues I was having that may have been causing me stress. She empathized with my troubles sleeping and even suggested what has worked for her. Wow, I am so thankful for her!

Listened to me and included me in the plan of care. Explained things and told me I have heart failure. I didn't understand this before. She ordered testing, with my input and medication as well. I heard medical terms but didn't quite understand that they translated into heart failure, which most my family has died from. It was a scary visit, but she was wondering. Central scheduling did all they could to get tests scheduled as soon as possible.

Eunjin Choi has given me the finest of medical care and was instrumental in diagnosing my latest heart episode which required a quadruple bypass to prolong my life. Without her professionalism, along with the expertise of my long-time cardiologist, Dr. Faheem Ahmad, and the surgical team led by Dr J. Michael Tuchek, I may not be here today. These medical professionals, in conjunction with their nursing care angels, have give me a new lease on life for which I am extremely humbled and greatful.
