Again, she dismissed me, was not listening, did not care to respond to my acid reflux concerns but instead asked me about how I’m having bowel movements. Also how is my weight related to acid reflux?! I talked to my primary doctor and we already discussed that and my options. I’m sure if her doctor told her to lose weight she wouldn’t like it. I had to talk to the office manager because I was so upset. The reason I left my last Gastro doctor was because he also dismissed me and told me to lose weight. Doctors and NP’s need more training and empathy.

I have never had a bad experience with an NP until this visit. She was rude, did not listen, would ask questions but not wait for answers and did not feel she cared at all.

She was very abrupt and "didn't have time" to discuss the issues I was concerned about. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if she doesn't time to talk about a patients concerns.
