Alexis is awesome and I’m grateful that we were able to establish a relationship before your in and out policy. She has been able to help me manage my A1C.
Although I was feeling better since my last labs were taken in February, I feel that Ms. Harper didn't think it was important enough to request a rush on my labs and I received them 2 days later, she was off on that day and I have yet to hear from her to go over my lab results and request an order to decrease my medication dosage.
I asked her what adjustments could be made, and she told me a list of options, and we chose the one that was the best for me in my situation. She also explained the steps we were to take with the new medicine, and to contact her if there was no significant change in two weeks. This gave me the confidence to try the new medicine and move forward. She always kept a positive frame of mind which helped me not to get too down about this negative recent result.
They have made me see how to really take control of my health issues to live the rest of the life I have left with those I love and not be a burden.
