The inpatient acute rehabilitation facility at Franciscan Health Crown Point, located on 7 West, provides state of the art rehabilitation services in a patient-centered environment. Our comprehensive, goal oriented, interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and therapists collaboratively work together to help our patients reach their highest potential and achieve their goals. Inpatient acute rehabilitation is designed to help our patients maximize their physical function and cognition after an illness or injury. We want our patients to be able to perform everyday tasks to the best of their ability before going home.

Prior to being admitted to our program, a thorough evaluation will be completed to determine your individual needs and if you qualify for admission. Once admitted, our team will work with you to develop a customized rehabilitation plan of care that will help you achieve the skills you need to live as independently as possible. The team, led by our board-certified physiatrists, will address your medical, functional, and cognitive needs. Benefits of acute inpatient rehabilitation include:

• 24/7 rehabilitation nursing care
• One-on-one therapy sessions
• Minimum of 3 hours of therapy per day, 5 days per week (15 hours per 7 days, if a slower pace is needed)

Certified Rehabilitation Professionals

Our team includes board certified physiatrists who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation and certified registered rehabilitation nurses. In addition, our rehabilitation therapists are certified in neuro, stroke, brain injury, voice treatment, lymphedema, and vestibular.
