Dr. Hussein was very thorough in asking questions about my health history, since this was my first appointment with him. He ordered new and different bloodwork, and echocardiogram and a nuclear medicine test. He explained possible treatment options depending upon test results.

He could of told me that developing an effusion was a possibility with the ablation. And once he knew I had the effusion, he or his nurse should have told me to go to the ER to have it drained.

Very impressed and heartened by Dr. Hussein’s professionalism, thoroughness, and care and treatment. He listened, answered questions and concerns and explained the treatment plan. I felt someone was finally hearing me and addressing my problems and taking them and me seriously.

I was told that Dr. Hussein is temporary and that Franciscan Health is looking for another Electrophysiologist. So, while he was knowledgeable and efficient, I am not sure he will be around for the long term.
